Directions

St. Demetrius Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral is located at

645 Roosevelt Avenue, Carteret, NJ 07008.

Parking is available next to the rectory, which is right next to the church.

From the NJ Turnpike:

Take Exit 12 for Carteret/Rahway. Bear left after going through the toll booth, and make a right at the first traffic light on to Driftway. At the next traffic light make a Left on to Roosevelt Avenue. Go past the Carteret Shopping Center on your right, and then make a Left at the next traffic light to continue on to Roosevelt Ave. Go down about six blocks, and the church will be on your right. Look for the three gold domes with the three-barred crosses on the roof.

From Woodbridge:

Head East on County Road 604 (Green St.) towards Amboy Ave. Turn Left on to Rahway Ave. At the third Right, turn on to Port Reading Ave. Follow for about 3 miles. Port Reading Ave. turns into Roosevelt Ave. You will see the Carteret Police Department on your right, followed by the Carteret Fire Department. When you see the Fire Department on your Right, make a Left on to Industrial Ave. Follow Industrial Ave. You will come to a four-way stop. Make a Left on to Roosevelt Ave. Go through the first traffic light, go down about one block and the church will be on your Left. Look for the three gold domes with the three-barred crosses on the roof.
